More About Me

Real Estate is such a rewarding occupation as an agent but it can be very nerve racking as first-time buyer or a seller trying to get the most from the sale of their home. It is the largest investment in most people's lifetime and also the largest sale of your life. But when all goes well, the result is happy buyers, happy sellers and in many cases friendships that can last a lifetime.

Real Estate agents are called Sales Associates, but rather then sales associates, they really are service managers. They must listen to what the buyer is looking for in a house and try to find as many of those wants in the price level that the buyer feels comfortable in. They also need to help them navigate all the obstacles on the road to ownership, such as mortgages, down payments, inspections and whatever else pops up. The agent must anticipate potential issues along the way and either head them off before they happen, or deal with them when they arise.

For the seller, the agent must not only determine a price that is both satisfactory to the seller but also realistic to the market and not give false hope that somehow the house will sell at a price that is unrealistic. Add to that the tricky subject of telling an owner that something that they think is fantastic and beautiful in their home is probably not going to impress the buyer. Along with that you must market the home so you get as many buyers into the home as possible until you find the right buyer.

Since 2002 Stephen Reddy has done his best to provide these services for my clients. It is extremely rewarding to go to a closing and see the excitement on the face of a buyer who is about to make new memories in their life, or a seller who is excited to start a new phase in their life. Especially when you helped them to get there and that big smile on their face tells you how much they appreciate what you did.
